Janitorial and commercial cleaning leads in Canada
Yes. LeadWharf sends exclusive janitorial and commercial cleaning leads to cleaning companies in every Canadian province and territory. You draw the service area, we find the facility manager or owner who signs off on cleaning, confirm they want regular work, and pass the contact to you alone. You pay per qualified lead.
Canada is a market of a few very large metros and a lot of distance between them. Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver hold a big share of the country's offices, hospitals and warehouses, while cities like Winnipeg, Halifax and Saskatoon anchor whole regions on their own. That shape matters when you choose a territory. A crew in Mississauga can fill a week without leaving Peel Region, while a company in Regina might cover the whole city and a ring of towns. We build your campaign around the area you can actually service, in English or in French, and every lead has to sit inside it.
The local market
Where the cleaning contracts are in Canada
The cleaning trade in Canada is large and mostly small. Statistics Canada counts 11,254 janitorial service locations with employees in its December 2025 business register, and 6,054 of them have between one and four employees. That tells you how contracts are won here. Most buildings are cleaned by a local company that got in front of the right person at the right time, not by a national firm with a procurement team. Ontario has the most janitorial locations of any province, followed by Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta.
Demand follows people and payroll. The 2021 Census puts Canada's population at 36,991,981, and the Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver metro areas together hold more than 13 million of them. Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa-Gatineau each sit near a million and a half. Those six metros carry the country's densest office stock, its teaching hospitals, its universities and the distribution parks that serve them. Beyond them, provincial capitals carry a heavy load of government, health and education buildings, and resource regions in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and Labrador add camps, plants and field offices that need steady cleaning.
For a cleaning company choosing a territory, the practical question is drive time in winter. A patch that works in July can be a two hour round trip in February. A sensible way to start is a tight core around where your crews already work, adding towns one by one as you grow. The same system runs in all of them: we find the person who signs, write to them in your name, and qualify the reply before it reaches you.
What changes through the year
Across most of Canada, winter is the season that changes the job. From November to April, road salt, sand and slush get walked into every lobby, and floors need more frequent scrubbing, mat service and refinishing in spring. Many facility managers review cleaning contracts ahead of the fiscal year, which for governments and many public bodies starts April 1. On the West Coast the problem is rain rather than salt, and in the North, short building seasons and long winters shape when work can start.

The standard
Three checks. Every entry.
This is the whole product, and you can hold us to every line of it. A lead is only charged once all three are true. Miss one and it is credited, with no back and forth.
It is in your area
The building sits inside the service area you draw for us. Not the next metro over, and not a two hour drive at six in the morning.
RequiredThey want regular work
They have told us, in their own words, that they are looking for recurring cleaning at the frequency and job size you set. Not a maybe, and not somebody collecting quotes for the fun of it.
RequiredYou get the person who signs
A named decision-maker with a direct line to them. Not a receptionist taking a message, and not a general inbox nobody reads.

Questions
Questions, answered.
Still not sure? Write to hello@leadwharf.com and a real person will get back to you.
Do you cover every province and territory?
Yes. We run campaigns in all ten provinces and all three territories. You tell us the area you service, from one postal code to a whole province, and every lead has to fall inside it.
Can outreach run in French for Quebec buildings?
Yes. We write each campaign for the building type and the buyer, and where the buyer prefers French, the outreach runs in French. That applies in Quebec and in French-speaking parts of Ontario and New Brunswick.
I operate on both sides of the border. Can I get leads in the US and Canada?
Yes. LeadWharf works across the United States and Canada, so a company with crews in, say, Detroit and Windsor can run both territories. Each area is set up and locked to you separately.
