Janitorial and commercial cleaning leads in California
Yes. LeadWharf finds exclusive janitorial and commercial cleaning leads across California, from Los Angeles and Orange County to the Bay Area, San Diego, Sacramento and the Central Valley. You set the territory, and every lead has to be inside it, want recurring cleaning and come with a decision-maker's direct line.
California is really several markets that happen to share a state line. The building stock in Silicon Valley has little in common with a cold-storage warehouse in Fontana or a state agency in downtown Sacramento, and traffic makes long drives expensive. That is why territories here are usually drawn tight, often a set of cities or ZIP codes along one freeway, and why we build outreach around the buildings in that exact patch.
The local market
Where the cleaning contracts are in California
The numbers are bigger than anywhere else in the country. California had 6,956 janitorial services establishments in 2023, employing 116,330 people, and BLS counted 245,790 janitors and cleaners statewide in May 2023, the highest of any state. Pay is high too, with an annual mean wage of $41,860. For an owner, that means buyers are used to comparing proposals and expect a crew that shows up trained and on time. The upside is the sheer depth of recurring work: offices, medical buildings, schools, labs and warehouses in every metro.
Southern California is the largest piece. Downtown Los Angeles, Century City and the Westside hold dense office towers, while Irvine and the rest of Orange County are full of suburban office parks and medical buildings. The Inland Empire, around Ontario, Fontana and Riverside, is packed with warehouses and distribution centers fed by the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. San Diego adds biotech labs in Sorrento Valley and Torrey Pines, and a large Navy presence.
In the north, San Francisco's Financial District and SoMa, and Silicon Valley from Palo Alto to San Jose, mix offices with data centers and research buildings. Sacramento is a government town, with state agencies filling downtown and midtown. The Central Valley, around Fresno, Bakersfield and Stockton, runs on agriculture, food processing and distribution.
What changes through the year
Wildfire season, which tends to peak from late summer into fall, can send smoke and ash into buildings far from the fire, driving extra work on air filters, windows and hard surfaces. The rainy months from roughly November to March bring mud and wet floors, especially in Northern California. Summer heat in the Central Valley and Inland Empire makes cooler overnight shifts the norm, and coastal tourist areas stay busiest in summer.

The standard
Three checks. Every entry.
This is the whole product, and you can hold us to every line of it. A lead is only charged once all three are true. Miss one and it is credited, with no back and forth.
It is in your area
The building sits inside the service area you draw for us. Not the next metro over, and not a two hour drive at six in the morning.
RequiredThey want regular work
They have told us, in their own words, that they are looking for recurring cleaning at the frequency and job size you set. Not a maybe, and not somebody collecting quotes for the fun of it.
RequiredYou get the person who signs
A named decision-maker with a direct line to them. Not a receptionist taking a message, and not a general inbox nobody reads.

Questions
Questions, answered.
Still not sure? Write to hello@leadwharf.com and a real person will get back to you.
Can I get cleaning leads just in Orange County?
Yes. Orange County, or even part of it such as Irvine, Costa Mesa and Newport Beach, can be your whole territory. Leads outside that line do not reach you.
Do you find leads for warehouses in the Inland Empire?
Yes. We can aim outreach at distribution centers, logistics offices and light industrial buildings around Ontario, Fontana and Riverside. The contacts are the facility and operations managers who choose the cleaning vendor.
Can one company cover both Los Angeles and San Diego?
Yes, if you have crews in both. We would set up two territories, one per metro, and run each against its own service area. You can also start with one and add the other later.
