Privacy policy

This website collects very little. There are no advertising cookies, personal data is never sold, and the personal information we hold comes from you when you book a call or email us.

Updated

Effective date: September 26, 2026

This policy explains how LeadWharf ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through leadwharf.com (the "site"). It covers the site only. If you become a client, the service agreement we sign with you in writing sets out how we handle data for your campaign.

Who we are

LeadWharf provides pay per lead lead generation for cleaning, janitorial and related companies in the United States and Canada. You can reach us about privacy at hello@leadwharf.com.

What we collect, and how

When you visit the site

The site is a static marketing site hosted on Cloudflare. When you load a page, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver it and protect it from abuse, such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page requested and the time of the request. This may be kept in request logs. Cloudflare's handling is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless: it does not set cookies or use local storage to track you, and it does not build a profile of you across sites.

When you book a call

Booking buttons open a scheduling tool run by Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com collects the details you enter, such as your name, email address and any notes, and shares them with us so we can hold the call. Cal.com's own privacy policy applies to the data processed through its service.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to include, such as your company name, service area or phone number.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless. If you open the booking tool, Cal.com may use cookies or similar technology needed to run the booking. Its policy explains how.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Deliver and secure the site
  • Understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it
  • Hold the call you booked and follow up on it
  • Reply to your emails
  • Keep records needed for our business, legal and tax obligations

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the site and our business, such as Cloudflare (hosting, security and analytics), Cal.com (scheduling) and our email provider. They process it on our behalf and for the purposes above. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

LeadWharf never sells personal information and never shares it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep booking details and email correspondence for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows, and then for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. When it is no longer needed, we delete it. Cloudflare and Cal.com keep data in line with their own retention policies.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@leadwharf.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

California residents (CCPA and CPRA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and the sources and purposes
  • Access a copy of your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do neither)
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it through the site)
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

In the last 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as name, email address and IP address) and internet activity information (such as pages visited) for the purposes described above. You or an authorized agent can make a request by emailing hello@leadwharf.com.

Canadian residents (PIPEDA)

If you are in Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act gives you the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to challenge its accuracy and have it corrected, and to withdraw consent to its use, subject to legal and contractual limits. We collect, use and disclose personal information only for the purposes set out in this policy, with your consent. Service providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, and our service providers do the same for the data they process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date at the top.
