Janitorial and commercial cleaning leads in Ontario
Yes, you can get exclusive janitorial and commercial cleaning leads anywhere in Ontario. Tell us the part of the province you cover, whether that is a few Toronto postal codes or everything between Kitchener and Oshawa, and we send you decision-makers who want regular cleaning. Each lead is yours alone.
Ontario is the biggest cleaning market in the country by a distance. It holds the Greater Toronto Area, the national capital in Ottawa, the manufacturing belt through Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Windsor, and a string of regional cities from London to Sudbury and Thunder Bay. The work is spread across towers, office parks, plants, hospitals and schools, and a company can build a full book in one corner of the province without ever seeing the rest. We set your campaign to the corner you choose.
The local market
Where the cleaning contracts are in Ontario
Statistics Canada's December 2025 business register counts 3,593 janitorial service locations with employees in Ontario, more than any other province, and 515,484 business locations with employees of all kinds. Most of those cleaning companies are small. That is good news for a company trying to grow, because it means most buildings are held by a local contractor that can be replaced when service slips, not locked into a national contract. The 2021 Census counted 14,223,942 people in the province, the largest population in Canada.
The building stock changes as you move out from Toronto. The downtown core and midtown carry Class A and B office towers, head offices and hospital row on University Avenue. Peel and York regions carry logistics, light industry and suburban office parks around Pearson Airport, Highway 407 and Highway 400. Hamilton, Burlington and the Niagara corridor lean toward manufacturing, healthcare and education. Ottawa is dominated by federal government offices and the tech firms in Kanata. Southwestern Ontario runs on auto parts, food processing and agriculture, and the north on mining offices, hospitals and colleges.
For territory planning, Highway 401 is the spine. Many janitorial companies draw their area as a stretch of the 401 or the QEW they can reach within a set drive time, then add a second region later. Because we lock each area to one company, the sooner you define it, the sooner it is held for you.
What changes through the year
Ontario winters are long, and from November to April every entrance takes in salt, sand and slush. Floor care demand rises through the winter and peaks with spring stripping and refinishing once the salt season ends. Lake-effect snow belts east of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay see heavier snow than Toronto. Schools and colleges schedule deep cleans around the September start and the summer break, and many public bodies set budgets for the April 1 fiscal year.

The standard
Three checks. Every entry.
This is the whole product, and you can hold us to every line of it. A lead is only charged once all three are true. Miss one and it is credited, with no back and forth.
It is in your area
The building sits inside the service area you draw for us. Not the next metro over, and not a two hour drive at six in the morning.
RequiredThey want regular work
They have told us, in their own words, that they are looking for recurring cleaning at the frequency and job size you set. Not a maybe, and not somebody collecting quotes for the fun of it.
RequiredYou get the person who signs
A named decision-maker with a direct line to them. Not a receptionist taking a message, and not a general inbox nobody reads.
RequiredQuestions
Questions, answered.
Still not sure? Write to hello@leadwharf.com and a real person will get back to you.
Can I get leads for the GTA without taking all of Toronto?
Yes. Your area can be a set of cities, regions or postal codes, such as Peel and Halton or just North York and Vaughan. Every lead has to sit inside the lines you draw.
Do you cover northern Ontario cities like Sudbury and Thunder Bay?
Yes. We run campaigns in northern Ontario the same way as in the south. The number of buildings is smaller, so we will look at your area with you on the call and be straight about what is there.
Can outreach go out in French in eastern Ontario?
Yes. Where the buyer prefers French, as many do in Ottawa, Cornwall and parts of the north, we write the campaign in French. You get the qualified contact either way.
