Janitorial and commercial cleaning leads in Missouri

Yes. LeadWharf finds Missouri businesses that want a new commercial cleaner on a regular schedule and sends each contact to one company only. St. Louis and Kansas City sit at opposite ends of I-70, and Springfield, Columbia and Jefferson City fill in the middle.

Missouri's two big metros each spill across a state line. The Kansas City metro runs into Kansas, and St. Louis draws in suburbs on the Illinois side. That matters when you choose a territory, because the buildings you can reach at night rarely stop at the border. You draw your service area however you actually drive it, and we find the offices, clinics and warehouses inside it where someone has said they want recurring cleaning.

Where the cleaning contracts are in Missouri

St. Louis has a deep mix of health care, universities and corporate offices. BJC HealthCare and Washington University's medical campus sit in the Central West End, next to the Cortex innovation district and its labs. Downtown and Clayton hold the main office towers, and West County and the I-64 and I-270 corridors add suburban office parks and medical buildings. North County and the riverfront have industrial and distribution space. Many large buildings here use a property manager, who is often the fastest route to a signed contract.

Kansas City, Missouri, has downtown, the Crossroads, the Country Club Plaza and a spread of offices north of the river. Hallmark is headquartered in the city, and the logistics parks near Kansas City International Airport and along I-435 hold large warehouses. Health systems including Saint Luke's and University Health run hospitals and outpatient offices across the metro. A cleaning company here often picks between the Missouri side, the Kansas side, or both.

The rest of the state is anchored by a few institutions. Springfield has Bass Pro Shops' headquarters, Mercy and CoxHealth. Columbia has the University of Missouri and its health system, and Jefferson City has the state capitol and agencies. Fort Leonard Wood, the Army's engineer and military police training post, and Whiteman Air Force Base, home of the B-2, both support contractor offices nearby. Branson brings theaters and hotels. In 2023, 1,194 janitorial services establishments employed 23,120 people in Missouri.

What changes through the year

Missouri sits in a zone of spring storms, and severe weather from March to June can mean water damage, debris and emergency cleanups. Summers are hot and humid, which raises dust and odor issues in warehouses and older offices. Winter brings ice more often than deep snow, and ice melt on lobby floors is a common complaint. In Branson, hotels and theaters are busiest from spring through the holiday season.

The standard

Three checks. Every entry.

This is the whole product, and you can hold us to every line of it. A lead is only charged once all three are true. Miss one and it is credited, with no back and forth.

01

It is in your area

The building sits inside the service area you draw for us. Not the next metro over, and not a two hour drive at six in the morning.

02

They want regular work

They have told us, in their own words, that they are looking for recurring cleaning at the frequency and job size you set. Not a maybe, and not somebody collecting quotes for the fun of it.

03

You get the person who signs

A named decision-maker with a direct line to them. Not a receptionist taking a message, and not a general inbox nobody reads.

Miss one and it is credited · No argument, no invoice to dispute

Questions

Questions, answered.

Still not sure? Write to hello@leadwharf.com and a real person will get back to you.

Can my Kansas City territory include the Kansas side?

Yes. You draw the area the way you actually work, so it can include Overland Park and Olathe along with Kansas City, Missouri. We check every lead against that map.

Can I get leads only in St. Louis County, not the city?

Yes. St. Louis City and St. Louis County are separate jurisdictions, and you can pick one or both. Leads outside your area are credited.

Do you find leads in Springfield and the Ozarks?

Yes. Springfield, Branson and Joplin each have offices, clinics, retail and hospitality buildings that hire cleaners. If they are inside your service area, we search there.
