LeadWharf publishes this guide. We do not make a podcast, so we are not on the list. We put it together because the owners we talk to learn a lot from these hosts, and a good list was hard to find. Every show and channel below was checked in October 2026: we confirmed the host, looked at the latest episode or video, and picked one we saw listed. Where a show has gone quiet, we say so and give the date of its last episode.
The best cleaning business podcasts are made by people who have run cleaning companies. They talk about the parts nobody teaches you: pricing a bid, hiring your first supervisor, chasing a lead that went quiet, and stepping back from the cleaning itself. The list is grouped so you can go straight to your part of the industry.
How we chose these cleaning business podcasts and YouTube channels
We kept a show if it met three tests:
- Made for owners. The show is about running a cleaning company, not about cleaning tips for homeowners.
- Real operators behind it. The host runs, or has run, a cleaning business, or the show comes from an industry body or software company that works with cleaning companies every day.
- Still worth your time. Most entries published in 2026. Two quieter shows have a short section of their own at the end, because their back catalogs still teach a lot.
For each one you get the host, the format, the focus, what you will learn, one standout episode or video, and who it suits.

How to get the most out of cleaning business podcasts
Listening is easy. Changing something because of what you heard is the hard part. A few habits help.
- Pick one skill a month. Choose a single area, such as follow-up, pricing or walk-throughs, and only listen to episodes on that topic for four weeks. You will hear the same idea from three hosts and remember it.
- Keep one note. Make a single note on your phone called "Try this week". Add one line per episode at most. If a line sits there for two weeks, delete it.
- Steal the words, not just the idea. The best episodes give you scripts: how to raise a rate, how to follow up, what to say at a walk-through. Write the words down and use them on your next call.
- Match the show to your stage. If you have no commercial accounts yet, a show about managing area supervisors will not help this month. Come back to it later.
- Share with your team. A five-minute Take 5 episode or a short Mike Mak video works well at a team meeting and starts a useful conversation.
- Check what the host sells. Many hosts sell coaching, software or courses. That is fine and often how the free show gets made. Take what helps and decide on the paid offer separately.

Which episodes to start with if you want commercial contracts
If your goal is signed commercial cleaning contracts, this order walks through the whole sale, from finding a buyer to deciding whether the contract is worth having:
- Finding buyers: Cleaning Launch, 10 Ways To Get Commercial Cleaning LEADS (Proven Systems).
- Reaching them directly: Peter Boland, The SECRET to Landing Large Cleaning Contracts with Cold Calling.
- The walk-through: The Business of Cleaning, "Winning Starts with the Walkthrough: Lessons from Adon Rigg".
- The bid: OctoClean, Improve Your Bidding Process To Make More Money, then Cleaning Launch on why bids are lost.
- Follow-up: Filthy Rich Cleaners, #115: Follow Up Like a Mad Person and Stop Letting Leads Die.
- Is the contract worth it: Grow My Cleaning Company, "Are Bigger Commercial Cleaning Contracts Actually Worth It?: Episode 1333".
- Larger bids and RFPs: The Profitable Cleaner, "#204 The RFP Playbook: How Cleaning Companies Can Win $1M+ Contracts".
Our written guides cover the same ground step by step: how to get commercial cleaning contracts and the full commercial cleaning sales process.
Where to go after the theory
Podcasts give you ideas and confidence. After that, you need two things: a plan for your own company and people to sell to.
For the plan, start with our guides. If you are new, read how to start a commercial cleaning business. If you already have accounts and want more, read how to scale a commercial cleaning company. The blog has the rest, from pricing to follow-up.
For people to sell to, LeadWharf finds decision-makers in your area, contacts them in your company's name, and sends you the contact once they meet three checks: the building is in your area, they want regular cleaning at your frequency and job size, and you get the person who signs, with a direct line. Each lead goes to you alone. See how janitorial leads work, or book a call and we will tell you whether your area is open.
If you host one of these shows and something here is out of date, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
